Exosomes

Elegant cosmetic vial labeled EXOMIDE with blue and pink design on soft pink background.

What are Exosomes?

Exosomes as a treatment, are often applied to the skin or scalp in an effort to increase hair health and density or skin health.

Exosomes are small nano-sized vesicles that are produced and released by human cells that contain proteins.

Once exosomes are pushed outside a cell they play a crucial role in cell-to-cell communication with the ability to transfer information and change the behaviour of neighbouring cells.

This intercellular communication can influence:

• Cell regeneration

• Tissue repair

It is important to note that exosomes are not cells themselves; they are small vesicles released by cells and are incapable of reproduction. They are cell-free, DNA-free and their main function is to influence other cells giving them a favourable safety profile.

More about Exosomes

Exosomes are the perfect treatment combination with micro-needling.

At Aesthetic Support, we use Xytide Human Exosomes, that contain more than just these powerhouse vesicles. Our treatments are completed by Registered Nurses or Doctors.

Xytide / Exomide Exosomes for skin also contain:

  • 5 Billion Exosomes
  • 17 types of amino acids
  • 8 types of hyaluronic acid
  • 7 types of growth factors
  • Niacinomide
  • Glutathione
  • Panthenol

Exosomes can also be used to assist in the thickening of hair follicles and to encourage hair growth, via applying to the scalp with light micro-needling. The exosomes and accompanying ingredients enter the scalp via the channels created with micro-needling to stimulate and encourage hair growth and thickening.

Xytide / Exomide Exosomes for Scalp also contain:

  • 10 Billion Exosomes
  • 7 Types of Growth Factor
  • 17 types of amino acids

  • Ecklonia Cava Extract
